Fleet industry praise for Volkswagen
We think our cars represent a great choice for fleet operators, but it's good to hear industry experts agreeing with us. Over the years our cars and our people have won many awards. Among those awards we are most proud of are the 5 'Fleet Manufacturer of the year' awards given by Fleet News since 2000.

Double honours for Volkswagen at 2008 Fleet World Honours
The 2008 Fleet World Honours has recognised the achievements of Volkswagen over the last year. Although, as always, the awards were tough to judge, the panel of fleet experts and the editorial teams of Fleet World voted Volkswagen the winner in two categories: ‘Best Fleet Car’ for the iconic Golf, continuing on from its success as the ACFO ‘Fleet Car of the Year 2007’ award, and ‘Best Diesel Range’.

Golf is ACFO Fleet Car of the Year 2007
The Volkswagen Golf has been chosen as Fleet Car of the Year by ACFO, the fleet operators' organisation. It gained the award thanks to its "reputation for delivering operational performance, whole life cost control and driver appeal, as well as an appealing environmental benefit". The Volkswagen Passat took second place.

Industry experts choose Passat again
'Passat wins Company Car of the Year award'
The Volkswagen Passat has been awarded the prestigious Fleet News Company Car of the Year Award 2007 for the second year running.
The Passat achieved the award despite tough competition including the BMW 3-Series, and was commended by Fleet News who emphasised that "The Passat has now settled into its role as a pillar of the fleet industry: stylish, reliable, well-priced and with sector leading residual values. The diesel engines are refined and economical, while the petrol versions offer something for everybody".
